About this tool

JSON-LD that passes the Rich Results Test first time

Schema markup tells Google and AI search engines exactly what a page is about — a dentist with these hours, a product at this price, these questions and answers. It is easy to get subtly wrong: a relative URL, a missing address field, a rating with no review count. This builds the JSON-LD from a form, leaves out anything you did not fill in, and checks Google’s required and recommended properties as you type, so the markup you copy is valid.

Five types, one tool

Local business (including clinics, dentists and pharmacies), FAQ, product, breadcrumb and review — switch between them without losing your work.

Checked as you type

Required fields, absolute URLs, phone formats, currencies, GTIN lengths and rating ranges are validated live, with what each problem means.

Nothing leaves the page

The markup is built in your browser. Copy it into your page’s head or a tag manager.

Step by step

How to create schema markup

  1. Fill in the form

Required fields are marked with an asterisk; recommended ones say so. Leave anything you do not have blank — it is left out.

  2. Fix what it flags

The checks under the code update as you type. Fix the red ones to be eligible for rich results.

  3. Copy into your page

Paste the script tag into your page’s head (or add it through a tag manager), then confirm it in Google’s Rich Results Test.

Questions

Questions about this tool

Everything here runs in your browser — nothing you add is uploaded. More in the general FAQ.

What is schema markup?

Structured data in a standard vocabulary (schema.org) that describes what a page is about in a form machines can read without guessing — a business and its hours, a product and its price, a list of questions and answers. Google uses it for rich results, and AI search engines use it to understand and cite pages.

Where do I put JSON-LD on my page?

Paste the whole <script type="application/ld+json"> block into the page’s <head>, or anywhere in the <body>. Google reads it in either place. In WordPress, Webflow or Shopify, use the page’s custom code field, or add it through Google Tag Manager.

Does schema markup improve rankings?

Not directly. It makes a page eligible for rich results — stars, prices, breadcrumbs — which tend to earn more clicks, and it helps search engines and AI assistants understand the page correctly.

How do I test my structured data?

Use Google’s Rich Results Test to see which rich results a page qualifies for, and the Schema Markup Validator at validator.schema.org for general schema.org errors. After publishing, Search Console reports any problems it finds across the site.

Is anything I type stored?

No. The markup is generated in your browser as you type, and nothing is sent anywhere or saved.
