About this tool

A type specimen for your own words

Font sites show their sample sentence; you need to see your headline, your brand name and your body copy. Upload a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2, or pick from Google Fonts, and the previewer shows your text at every size and every weight the font has — variable fonts get a live weight slider. The pairing view sets your font against a suggested partner on a realistic page, and when you are happy, the font compressor next door turns it into a small WOFF2 for the web.

  • Free, no sign-up
  • Your fonts stay local
  • Google Fonts optional

Every weight

Static families show each style they contain; variable fonts get sliders for every axis.

Pairings that work

Curated heading and body pairings, shown on a real layout instead of two lines of sample text.

Then make it small

One click hands your font to the font compressor for WOFF2 subsetting.

Tips for the best results

  • Test at body sizeA font that looks great at 60 px can be tiring at 16. Check both.
  • Pair by contrastA serif heading with a sans body, or vice versa, is a reliable pairing.
  • Limit the weightsTwo or three weights per family keeps pages fast.
  • Check the licenceUploading a font here is private, but publishing it needs a web licence.

Questions

Questions about this tool

Everything here runs in your browser — nothing you add is uploaded. More in the general FAQ.

How do I preview a font before installing it?

Drop the font file here. It is loaded into this page only — not installed on your system — and shown at every size and weight with your own text.

Can I preview Google Fonts?

Yes. Search the Google Fonts list and pick one; the font is loaded from Google Fonts for the preview. Your own uploaded fonts never leave your device.

How do I choose a font pairing?

Start from contrast: a serif with a sans-serif, or a display face with a neutral text face. The pairing view suggests partners for your font and shows them on a realistic page layout.

Does it support variable fonts?

Yes. Each axis the font defines — weight, width, slant or a custom one — gets its own slider.

Are my fonts uploaded?

No. Uploaded fonts are read in your browser. Only if you choose a Google Font is that font downloaded from Google.
